Thanks to you and the incredible amount of pressure you put on News Corp - in an unprecedented move, they pulled the plug on that horrible book and TV project! However, that decision did not soften the blow, nor does it change the fact that they STILL paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to a killer.
From a moral standpoint, we can all agree that paying money to a killer is reprehensible. It strikes at our core of decency. For those of us who live our lives in an honorable and ethical manner, negotiating and brokering deals with a murder, doesn’t fit the code of ethics that we all believe to be reasonable.
News Corp knew what they were doing when they wrote a check to someone other than the killer. They knew they were helping him hide money to avoid paying the multi million dollar judgment awarded to our family, yet they did it anyway.
We have requested that News Corp first of all confirm that the books have been recalled and destroyed and secondly to assign us their rights to the book and the interview so that we can make certain this material never sees the light of day. They have yet to respond.
In an effort to hold them accountable for their offensive acts, we need to keep the pressure on. We will do whatever we can to hold News Corp responsible. This includes suing them and all those associated with them for the judgment money that the killer avoided paying. We hope you agree and continue to support our efforts.
